- The opposition to this makes no rational arguments, here are some of the most rediculous I have heard. Violence against women act is just as rediculous as a law against killing crab grass. I do not beat my wife so why should I care if other women are beaten.

- I wish it were that easy first of all poverty will always exist and we are not a society where we live off the sweat of our brow alone. We now feed ourselves and pay for heat and housing from a job where someone pays you cash money. Last I checked not a lot of those around.
